## Abstract

After publication of our article [J. Opt. Soc. Am. B **28**, 2909 (2011) [CrossRef] ], we observed some typographical errors that are corrected here.

We noticed that the sentence below Eq. (4) in [1] should read: “corresponding to eigenvalues ${\eta}_{1}=0$, ${\eta}_{2}=-g$, ${\eta}_{3}=g$, ${\eta}_{4}=-\sqrt{2{\lambda}^{2}+{g}^{2}}$, and ${\eta}_{5}=\sqrt{2{\lambda}^{2}+{g}^{2}}$ with the projections.”

There is a typographical error in Eq. (6). The correct form should be as follows:

Correspondingly, ${\mathrm{\Omega}}_{1}$ (${\mathrm{\Omega}}_{2}$) should be substituted by ${\mathrm{\Omega}}_{2}$ (${\mathrm{\Omega}}_{1}$) in Eq. (7), as well as the last sentence of p. 2910, which should read “Set ${\mathrm{\Omega}}_{2}=-{\mathrm{\Omega}}_{1}=\mathrm{\Omega}$.” The last sentence of p. 2912 should read: “[...] with the parameters $g=2\pi \times 750\text{\hspace{0.17em}}\text{\hspace{0.17em}}\mathrm{MHz}$,” where we replaced $\lambda $ with $g$.

These changes do not affect the results and conclusions of the article [1].
